I have this habit of redecorating my room every so often because I love a change of environment.
In the past year, I think I’ve rearranged it three times entirely! Lately, I’ve embraced neutrals white and black with wood accents. I’m constantly inspired by Scandinavian interiors – clean, minimal and relaxed.
The canopy and some fairy lights add coziness to my bed. I’m so glad I found this vintage map fabric, complete with travel quotes like the classic: “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” I’m so excited for more adventures this year.
I stacked these two wooden crates and tray from Urban Abode for my bedside table / shelf. I love the natural feel it lends to the room.
I used to have a bookshelf but I realized it took up so much space in my little room. So I opted to stack my books and magazines in this corner. I’m definitely keeping it this way for a while. (Spot my little TARDIS. I love Doctor Who!)
I have two desks: one for work, one for play! I wanted more space to lay out things and have my favorite magazines and notebooks within reach. I love this white wooden tray from H&M Home that I use for desk essentials and stationery.
I started this polaroid wall last year with twine and wooden clips. Can’t wait to fill the entire wall by the end of this 2015. Adjacent to it are some magazine pages and photos. Although it isn’t seen here, the clipboard with the red heart has my favorite verse: “Be strong, take heart, stay with God.”
